Ergoroot story

Ergoroot was founded in 2025 in the UK with a clear mission — to help people live a pain-free life through better posture and smarter ergonomic support.

The brand was started by two young UK-based physiotherapists, James Walker and Oliver Bennett, who shared a common concern from their daily clinical practice. Over time, they noticed a growing pattern:
people in their 20s and 30s were experiencing tailbone pain, sciatica, lower back discomfort, and spinal issues — problems traditionally seen at much later ages.

The cause was rarely an injury.
Instead, it was long hours of sitting, poor posture, sedentary routines, and inadequate seating support at work, at home, and during travel.

As physiotherapists, James and Oliver realized that treatment alone was not enough. People needed practical, everyday solutions that could support the body before pain became a long-term problem.

That insight became Ergoroot.

Every Ergoroot product is designed with a physiotherapy-led approach, focusing on:
